We are excited to bring Cimmerian label bossman Kilbourne back to Victoria to showcase his new EP. It’s been a long time coming to get this guy on the system and with all the new cabinets it should be a session for the books. The newly formed duo of west coast bad boys Tappa and Strange thing will be playing their debut set as Sixes. These guys have been laying low and honing their craft waiting for the right opportunity to showcase their project. Opening the night will be Lavande. Bringing a fresh energy to the session she will be warming up the system and laying the foundation for the night. Taking the crew spot for the session, Subaura will be playing a set curated to work the soundsystem and push frequencies felt deep in your soul.

For our next session we have invited Shigero out from Montreal. We connected with a lot of dope people from out east this summer and this will be our first time bringing one of them over to the west coast. Coming with serious dubplates and an ability to mix that will even have local djs impressed. Along with Shigero we are bringing half of the UK heavyweight duo LSN. I’ve been really enjoying the mixes and tunes coming from these guys and I know he’s got a ton of new music he’s been waiting to play out. We are having Misfit back for redemption after he didn’t get to play his set at our last session. Another Uk Rude boy that we have been blessed to have made friends with. To pack as much talent into one night as possible, we are bringing Vyla out from Calgary for her Victoria debut. Producer, Dj and Co-founder of bass summit music festival, Vyla will make the stacks breathe with her tastefully curated selections. Subaura and myself will be opening the night and warming up the system. Bring your earplugs and maybe your helmets. But don’t worry I had to assure the downbeat that nobody will shit themselves. (Seriously) This will be the debut of the fourth iteration of Sacred Roots as a Soundsystem. starting 2026 Heavy.

For our first installment in a proper venue with the full system it only makes sense to bring someone as passionate about sound systems as we are. Coming all the way from Asheville NC, Sacred Roots proudly presents TUNIC. Owner of Hi-Vi sound system and record label, Tunic has been pushing sound system and dubplate culture throughout the US and into the UK. Releasing limited vinyls on Hi-Vi as well as having releases on prominent labels such as LDH and Dub Colony. Tunic has dubs that will push the system to its limits. Directly supporting on her way from Shambhala to INIT, Mae B will be stopping through to bless the soundsystem with her finely curated selections alongside her own productions and vocals. The sacred roots crew will be opening up and closing the night in a proper soundsystem fashion. Dark basement venue, ambient red lighting, hazy dance floor, big Soundsystem, small capacity, Dub, Dubstep and dub techno all night long.
