Sacred roots presents: Bukkha ft Vixen sound. (Victoria)

For the next session we are inviting Bukkha back to Victoria for his Burn Babylon tour. I am a huge fan of his music and feel honoured to be hosting his return to the island. Bukkha is a big force in the realms of dub and dubstep. Coming with brand new tunes and a serious message this will be a heavyweight session. Alongside Bukkha, Vixen sound will be coming to stop in on her tour across North America. This was a total coincidence and she just happened to be coming to Canada and free to play on the day we had this session planned. Seemed like an opportunity I couldn’t turn down. Vixen sound is currently Scotland’s first and only female owned and operated soundsystem. LoFreq is another one I have been trying to lock down for a while. She has been pushing the kind of vibes we look for and knows how to make a soundsystem purrr. She’s currently on the west coast so it worked out nicely to have her out for this one. Taking on the crew spots for the night Aurcah and Mana will be delving into different flavours of the dub and dubstep spectrum. This session should cover all the stops from reggae to dubstep and everything in between. Leaning more into the kind of sessions we’d like to start hosting with an emphasis on soundsytem music and culture.
